Thermal Imaging / Thermography
To unearth a variety of issues within properties and buildings in the Glasgow area we can use a non-intrusive thermal survey to examine the structure. These types of surveys are quick and efficient due to them being able to cover a large surface area in one go. A clear image is produced that shows the varying surface temperatures readings.
Thermography can be used for a variety of reasons, including:
- Leakage areas within a construction unseen by the human eye
- Improve your energy efficiency by locating heat loss in your home to pin point where insulation is needed
- Insulation consistency for BREEAM credits
- Finding underfloor heating pipe work
- Lack of insulation from construction or deterioration
- Check door and window seal fit against air leakages
- Flooding and water ingress
- Determine envelope cladding, de-lamination, bonding and rendering faults
E2 Consultants employ qualified Level 2 Thermographic Surveyors who can easily undertake these thermal imaging surveys in Glasgow using one of our state of the art infrared thermal cameras.
Following the survey, our expert surveyors will have their thermal images analysed and presented back to the client with a detailed report of what each image shows and whether a fault is detected. From these images, a conclusion is drawn up of their findings and what, if any, retrospective action will need to be taken.
Here at E2, we have a survey and a surveyor to fit your requirements. Our integrity is guaranteed to bring you the best results. To make an enquiry, call 0800 043 8100 or email thermography@e2consultants.co.uk.
